September 2009 - Opening Ceremony -
HEART - Hening Museum of Contemporary
 
On September 7th the new Herning Art Museum; HEART was opened. Speakers included Steven Holl, Lars Løkke Rasmussen & Lars Damgaard amongst many others. The guests were entertained by music while food and drinks were supplied from the in-house restaurant. On September 9th. the museum warmly welcomed their first visitors and on the same evening the chamber music ensemble "MidtVest" played their very first concert in the new concert hall, designated to chamber music.
 
3 years of collaboration with Niras, Schønherr Landscape and C.C. Contractor has lead us through a fascinating process in close dialogue with Steven Holl Architects in order to fullfill the vision and it was an amazing experience to see the building with artwork, guests, live parrot and music.
