April 2009 - Opening of "Alandica Culture and Conference Center" in Aaland, Finland

The cultural establishment in Aaland performed on 5 stages during the 48 hour opening ceremony of "Alandica Culture and Conference Center" on April 4th and 5th.
The finnish minister of cultural affairs Stefan Wallin expressed his apparent joy of the variety of possibilities offered to the Aaland community from the new building and stressed the very positive feedback from new users of the the Culture Center. The opening was grand and executed with splendor: A continuous run of parallel performances on 5 stages and a final concert in the largest auditorium, during which musicians from Aaland and abroad, soloists and chorist performed the 2. Mendelsohn Symphony with the simultaneous stage presence of over 200 people.
